HP AEC Premium Achievers explore Tokyo

HP Inc. rewarded 16 representatives of top performing HP partners with a tour of Tokyo, Japan in January.

The winners of the HP AEC Premium Achievers Program 2016 enjoyed a three-day tour of Tokyo, taking in the unique climate, culture, cuisine and natural beauty of Japan.

Among the achievers were Abans PLC., Arc Tech Lanka, Barclays Computers, Base HP (Private) Limited, D Max Computers, Last Chance Security Solutions, Metro Computer Technology, Nalin Information Technologies., Redington Lanka, Sampath Information Technology, Seetha Holdings., Sri Lanka State Trading General Corporation, The Computer City, Unity Systems Solutions, Virus Technologies and VS Information Systems.

“HP Distributors, Corporate Resellers, Commercial and Retail partners play a crucial role in our business providing us with a winning formula for success,” said Managing Director of HP Inc. for AEC Christian Reyes, who joined the partners on the tour.

The Sri Lankan HP partner contingent while on a scenic tour of Hakone and also participated in a samurai boot camp. The latter was the highlight of the tour with one partner, Gehan Thangappan of The Computer City, saying, “The samurai training was out of this world not even in my dreams have I been a samurai warrior.”

Managing Director of Barclays Computers, Naleem Farook said, “Choosing Tokyo was the best decision by HP as it is the fastest growing tourist destination for year 2016 where 20 million people visited.”

HP AEC Premium Achiever’s is a bi-annual HP initiative aimed at rewarding HP’s top performing partners who help grow top line revenue and bottom line profitability.
