After two years in Sri Lanka, French photographer, Marie-Caroline Senlis decided to exhibit a collection of photographs selected from her work here. She presents a poetic vision of the country, including nature, culture, the people, colours, from her travels and everyday life in the country. The exhibition will be held from April 7 to 25 at EXOTIC ROOTS, 50A Light House Street, Galle Fort from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm.
After studying Fine Art in Versailles, French Literature, Chinese Language and Civilization, Marie-Caroline Senlis started her career as a photographer in Shanghai in early 2000. She has been deeply inspired by the years spent in China, Pakistan, India and Sri Lanka, and by the spirit of the people in these countries.
