Singer Cup U19 Division II Schools (2-Day) K/O : Rahula 150; St. John’s 79/1

St. John’s College Panadura scored 79 runs for one wicket in reply to Rahula’s first innings of 150 on the first day of the Singer Trophy Under 19 division two 2-day inter schools semi-finals played at Sooriyawewa International Cricket stadium yesterday.

Rahula won the toss and elected to bat first but were bowled out 150 with Thanuja Akalanka taking 5 wickets for 37 runs.

Akalanka followed that bowling spell by scoring an unbeaten 36 in St John’s reply.
