IPM Sri Lanka held its 20th graduation ceremony on Tuesday October 31st 2017 at the BMICH, amidst a large gathering which included Chief Guest, Prof. Ananda Jayawardane,VC University of Moratuwa; Guest of Honour, Dirk Pereira, CEO Union Assurance PLC; President IPM Sri Lanka, Prof. Ajantha Dharmasiri; Hony. Secretary IPM Ken Vijayakumar; Immediate Past President IPM Rohitha Amarapala; COO IPM P. G. Tennakoon; Director of Studies IPM Arosh Yahampath; Chairman IPM Sri Lanka Business School Committee Jayantha Amarasinghe; IPM council members, IPM faculty and graduands.
Over 650 graduands representing IPM’s flagship qualification PQHRM (Professional Qualification in Human Resource Management) and NDTHRD (National Diploma in Training and Human Resource Development received their graduation certificates at the ceremony.

You have strived to be successful, committed to be competent and devoted to be distinct, and you will truly enrich the HR landscape” said Prof. Ajantha Dharmasiri,President IPM Sri Lanka congratulating the graduands.
“In addition to qualifications, HR professionals need to develop their competencies and skills, engage in continuous professional development while maintaining a high level of ethical standards and positive attitudes in order to be successful” said Chief Guest Prof. Ananda Jayawardena addressing the audience.
Special awards were also presented to those graduands who excelled in performance. The Jayantha Jayaratne Gold Medal for Excellence in Performance in the PQHRM qualification was awarded to Dinusha Dishantha Namal Dissanayake from the Kandy Regional Center.
PQHRM - IPM Sri Lanka’s flagship qualification in HRM – is accredited by the Asia Pacific Federation of Human Resource Management (APFHRM). IPM is also affiliated with the World Federation of People Management Associations (WFPMA).
IPM graduates in HRM enjoy a high level of acceptance in the industry due to the all round academic, practical and value based learning ecosystem.
