Superintendent of Railways, Vijaya Samarasinghe has been appointed as the Additional General Manager, Operations, of the Railway Department. Samarasinghe has served the Department for 35 years. He had his education at Ananda College, Colombo and is a graduate of the University of Colombo and also holds a post-graduate degree.
