China National Aero-Technology International Engineering Corporation (AVIC-ENG), one of subsidiaries company under AVIC International Holding Corporation (AVIC-INTL), recently held ceremonies in Colombo and Matara on the theme of ‘Let Love Hold up the Future’, donating living necessities and teaching equipment to the Lawris Girl’s Home at Colombo and the ‘Sigithi’ Kindergarten in Matara.
The donation was warmly welcomed by the kindergartners. Mrs. Harini, the Secretary of Lawris Girl’s Home expressed gratitude to AVIC-ENG on behalf of the orphanage.
She said that they are pleased to receive donations from Chinese companies and she is very grateful for 5 years continuous love from AVIC-ENG, which contributes to making these children grow up happily. Mrs. Dayaseeli, the principal of “Sigithi” Kindergarten, expressed her excitement and gratitude to Chinese Contractor AVIC-ENG’s kind donation to the kids, the donation tells the love to the kids from Chinese Contractor AVIC-ENG.
The Chinese Contractor AVIC-ENG has been performing its corporate social responsibility since the year of 2010 when undertaking the first project of Improvement and Rehabilitation of A09 Road in Northern conflict area. AVIC-ENG has also the Contractor who had successfully completed the Runway Overlay and Associated Works Project ahead of the schedule in 2017.
Meanwhile, AVIC-ENG has also invested 250 million USD for Astoria Apartment Development Project to provide the luxurious apartments and office building in Colombo 3, the phase I will be handed over to the client soon, will be one of the landmarks in Colombo and present more beauty and modernization to the landscape of the city.
