Ceylinco Life recently sent two Deputy General Managers, one from Bancassurance and the other from Business Development for training at New York Life, the life insurance company with the largest market share in the USA.
Manjula Thenuwara and Wasantha Wijesinghe participated in a 10-day training programme covering human resource management models of New York Life relating to recruitment, selection, training and retention. The programme also covered the American life insurance leader’s event marketing strategies that lead to increase in sales.
The two Deputy General Managers also shared Ceylinco Life’s best practices in business development with fellow participants. New York Life manages an agent force of 12,000.
