Sony and Singer introduce home audio systems

Singer (Sri Lanka) PLC, with Sony International, launched six new high powered Home Audio Systems at an event held in Colombo last week.

“The present range has been improved and re-introduced in keeping in mind the present day youth. The speakers have the capability of connecting 20 units wireless and this is a huge boost for the party organizers. We have identified the entertainment segment as an integral part of socialising in today’s context and are confident that the new range will be well accepted in the market by the modern day consumers,” Chief Operating Officer Singer Sri Lanka Mahesh Wijewardene said.

He said that consumer preference and recognition towards the Singer brand has grown steadily over the years and this is evident in the fact that the sales has gone up continuously. “The new products have been well accepted by the market. We have faith in the Sony brand and the equipment and hopeful that this range will attract more young customers to our product portfolio,” he said.

The 6 Home Audio Systems models launched included 3 options of the all-in-one box style (MHC-V81D, MHC-V71Dand MHC-V41D) as well as the Shake 3-box models (MHC-M60D, MHC-M40D and MHC-M20D) all of which are guaranteed to fill any room with booming sounds.

The 3-box models provide wide stereo sound for both day-to-day audio needs and weekend house parties with high power amplifiers providing an impressive level of sound pressure. Music can be played from any source such as CD, DVD, HDMI OUT (ARC), USB, Bluetooth, as well as mic and guitar input. Users can also enjoy Wireless Party Chain via Bluetooth® and Party King mode.
