Extra ordinary fashions by the graduates of University College, Ratmalana. Given the theme the students had to come out with their creativity and so here you see a variety of fashion. The catwalk was to showcase a creative sense of young and aspiring fashion designers while unveiling twelve designer collections inspired from rich sources of inspiration. The Fashion Design Technology Program of the University College, Ratmalana presented this inaugural UCR Fashion Show and Exhibition. The Designer Collections were by the final year students who followed the Higher National Diploma in Fashion Design Technology. The chief guests at the show were the Deputy Minister, Ministry of Science, Technology, Research, Skills Development and Vocational Training and Kandyan Heritage Karunarathna Paranawithana and the Country Director, Turner Investments US and Former Chairman of Sri Lanka Export Development & Sri Lanka Tourism, Dr.Rohantha Athukorala, Pix: Vipula Amarasinghe
