Malay Cricket Club’s Rilwan Lantra was re-elected as the Secretary General of the Sri Lanka Malay Confederation (SLAMAC) at its annual general meeting held last week at the Padang Auditorium in Colombo. Their primary function is to conducts events and sports with the participation of all under the theme United in Brotherhood. The office bearers representing affiliated member associations were elected for the period 2018 to 2020. Standing: Co-Presidents - Naim Samahon (Kolonnawa Malay Association), Feizal Dole (Kandy Malay Association), Leileen Hamin (WASLAM), Naleer Hassim (Battaramulla Malay Association), Hussain Jayah (SLMA), Aswan Bangsajayah (Kumpulan Melayu Kotikawatte), Shibly Marjan (Puttalam Malay Association). Seated: Treasurer General -Irfan Allang (Aalul Mahfil Union), Secretary General - Rilwan Lantra (CMCC) and Asst Treasurer General-Joe Boharie (COSLAM). Absent - Zaharan Haleed - Asst Secretary General and Adhil Khasim - Legal Advisor
