Vidyartha College, Kandy will be looking forward to a better season at the 2019 inter school rugby tournament scheduled to begin next week.
They have proved themselves by performing well in the two warm-up outings, where they beat Trinity 12-10 but lost to Royal 0-18. They are coached by Sumedha Malawana. Their first match is against Mahanama College on March 2 at Nittawela followed by matches against St. Sylvester’s College on March 10 at Nittawella, CWW Kananagara, Thurstan College and Dharmaraja College. Dates for the last three games will be known later.
