Bandaranayake Central College, Veyangoda recorded thrilling one wicket victory over Henegama Central College in their 4th “Siyane Battle of Blue and Green” cricket encounter played at the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium recently.

Henegama Centralians were bundled out for 206 in 49.4 overs and in reply Bandaranayake Centralians scored 210 for 9 wickets in 49.5 overs while Nipun Santhush made brilliant 84 runs to open their victory path. The Man of the Match award went to Nipun Santhush while the Best Fielder was Thathsara Vidura both from Bandaranayake Central College. The Best Batsman and Best Bowler awards were won by Shehan Lakshan and Manujith Deshan from Henegama Central.

Sri Lanka Test cricketer Nuwan Kulasekara graced the occasion as a chief guest.
