The Special Selection Committee meeting for the 41st Observer-Mobitel Schoolboy Cricketer of the Year headed by former Sri Lanka captain Hashan Tillekaratne will be held at the Galadari Hotel tomorrow (12) evening.
Among the others who will take part in the event are president of the Sri Lanka Schools Cricket Association (SLSCA) and principal of Dharmapala Vidyalaya Oshada Panditharatne, SLSCA Secretary Dilshan de Silva and Sri Lanka Cricket Umpires and Scorers Association president Daminda Cooray.
Tillekaratne led Sri Lanka team with distinction and at present he is playing a key role as the Sri Lanka Under-19 head coach.
He is a former president of the Umpires Association. Several other key officials of the SLSCA and Umpires Association will also attend the meeting along with representatives of the sponsors SLT Mobitel and ANCL including Mobitel CEO Nalin Perera and Lake House Chairman Krishantha Cooray.
