British School donates cricket gear to rural kids

The British School in Colombo (BSC) brought life, laughter and joy to underprivileged cricketers of Mahadiulweva Maha Vidyalaya, Trincomalee when they donated valuable cricket equipment during a charity cricket encounter worked off in Trincomalee recently.

The BSC cricketers also joined with their coaching staff to conduct a cricket coaching camp for the Under-13 and Under-12 cricketers of Mahadiulwewa Maha Vidyalaya.

The three-day event concluded with the BSC taking on Mahadiulwewa Maha Vidyalaya Under-17 and Under-15 teams in two T20 cricket matches. The event was organised by Aruna Batapolaarachchi, head coach of BSC under the patronage of Dr. John Scarth, the principal of BSC.
