S Aluvihare of Srimithraaratchy House was first, H Ranaweera second and P. Ratnayake third both from Central Boarding House at the annual road race of Trinity College which took place on Friday.
The race began in front of the school swimming pool and ended at the same spot. The area in front of the swimming pool was filled with excited students and teachers for the much anticipated annual road race which was held as part of the Inter-House Sports Meet.
Over 75 runners participated in the race flagged off by the school principal Andrew Fowler-Watt.
On the same day Trinity College and Wariyapola Sri Sumangala College played a chuckers rugby game at Pallekelle where the Trinitians were able to score 32 points from five tries and one goal to 10, two tries.
