Mainly fair weather will prevail over most parts of the island, said the Department of Meteorology.
There is a possibility for ground frost in some places in the Nuwara-Eliya district at the early hours of the morning.
Wind speed can increase up to 40-50 kmph at times in Matara, Hambanthota, Monaragala, Gampaha, Kurunegala and Puttalam districts.
