Eastern Province Governor Anuradha Yahampath and Batticaloa Mayor Thiagaraja Saravanapavan discussed steps to contain the spread of Dengue in Batticaloa, including measures to renovate dilapidated drains at a cost of Rs 190 million at the Governor’s office in Trincomalee recently. They also evaluated action taken to combat Covid-19 in the Batticaloa district.
