Graduates whose applications under the special graduate employment scheme of the government, were rejected, can now appeal, states a media release issued by Public Services, Provincial Councils and Local Government Ministry.
According to Ministry sources, those who have applied for jobs and have not found employment under the program could submit their appeals on or before September 15. The appeals should be sent to the respective Divisional Secretariats of the applicants.
The Secretary to the Ministry, J. J. Ratnasiri said graduates whose applications were rejected due to their membership in the Employees Provident Fund and are employed in the private sector have been given an opportunity to submit their appeals.
According to the advertisement published on the official website of the Ministry www.pubad.gov.lk, their appeals should be submited to the Divisional Secretariat of the area they live in.
