Bathiudeen brought to parliament in PPE

Parliamentarian Rishad Bathiudeen who is in remand was brought to parliament today (22).  He was in Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as he is in 14 days quarantine before being shifted to prison.

Bathiudeen who was taken into custody on Monday and subsequently remanded was brought to parliament by prison authorities in keeping with a written request from the Serjeant-at-Arms. The MP was allocated a special seat inside the chamber to ensure social distancing.
