Former Sri Lanka Cricket official Godfrey Dabrera has been elected president of the Throwball Federation and is expected to popularize this new sport island-wide.
Dabrera was elected head of the Throwball Federation uncontested while his entire team was also elected to their respective posts uncontested.
Meanwhile former president of the Throwball Federation Yasa Ramachandra was once again elected deputy president while Tamara Ellesinghe and Vineetha Fernando were elected Secretary and Treasurer respectively.
