Manomi Senevirathne assumed duties as the new principal of the Sumana Balika National School, Ratnapura recently. She held the position of the Deputy Commissioner of the Department of Examinations until she was appointed the principal by the Public Service Commission. She has also completed 14 years service in the Sri Lanka Education Administrative Service. Senevirathne has done her postgraduate degree at the Flinders University, Australia.
