PCR

24 October, 2021

Let’s sit…
Have a chat on PCR and how it functions
A lab technology makes thousands of DNA copies
A biological tool that shows incredible miracles
discovered by Kary Mullis
We do not even see this happening in a
small plastic tube
The journey starts with a DNA template, enzyme, buffer and deoxyribonucleoside triphosphate
Following three easy steps…
Denaturation, Annealing and extension cycles
repeated 30-40 times
First discovered in the early 1980s
Although it has been popular among scientists
for a long time
Due to this epidemic, the name is heard here even by children and the elderly.
Dear PCR, once the pandemic is over
We may forget you…
But, the help you gave us to diagnose the disease will never be forgotten
In addition to the usual science practices, we pray you to grow further and move forward…
