Sadisha Rajapakse of Royal College has become the Sunday Observer-SLT Mobitel Most Popular Schoolboy Cricketer of the Year 2021 while Nimesha Tharuni from Marapola MV is the Most Popular Schoolgirl Cricketer of the Year according to the final week’s vote count from readers. Rajapakse and Nimesha will receive their awards at the Sunday Observer-SLT Mobitel School Cricketer Awards ceremony on December 14 at the BMICH in Colombo with former Sri Lanka captain Arjuna Ranatunga as the chief guest.
