Imported fruit prices shoot upwards

There has been a sharp increase in the price of imported fruits due to the increase of VAT on imported fruits. Our staff photographer Sulochana Gamage captured the photograph where people still go for those luscious fruits at fruit stalls in Pettah despite the price increase.
