Elite Taekwondo Club is a premier Martial Arts club in the Western Province started 17 years ago at the Raddoluwa. Club and gained a reputation by producing Champions and winning local and international tournaments.
Despite the pandemic situation and the current crisis Elite Taekwondo Club continued to grow in 2020 to2022. In 2022, 2021 and 2022 the club won international and local medals totally 219 by participating in both online and offline tournaments.
Its founder and the present president, Chief Instructor WADM Asitha Wickramatunga played a vital role for the Club to achieve these during the past two years. Wickramatunga is one of the highly qualified Taekwondo exponents.
He is a 5th Dan black belt (Korea) national referee, member of the Athlete Committee Asia Taekwondo Union and Technical Committee Member of SLTF) and supported by Senior Instructor WAD Asanga Chameera.
Elite Taekwondo is a sport spreading across the Western Province guiding children and community with five branches in Colombo and Gampaha districts.
