The outgoing Government Agent of the Matara Disrict and well-known educationalist Pradeep Rathnayaka launched his book ‘Minisun Athara Minise’  (“A Man Among Men”) at the Sri Lanka Institute of Development Administration in Colombo recently. Rathnayaka is a senior officer in the Public administration service. He had worked for five years as a Government Agent of the Matara District. He is a Moratuwa University engineer and Sri Lanka’s only engineer to have served as a Government Agent. In his book, Rathnayaka vividly describes his life experiences. Obtaining distinctions in all four subjects (4As) in the GCE (A/L) during school career at Royal College, Colombo, he devoted early part of his career as a famous Chemistry and Physics tutor.
