The National Vesak Festival is celebrated on a grand scale this year in Sri Lanka. The ‘Buddha Rashmi’ Vesak Zone at the Gangaramaya Temple premises will continue today, May 7. The Embassies of India, Pakistan, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Nepal and Thailand are displaying the Buddhist heritage in their countries at the Vesak Zone. A large number of people visited the Embassy stalls.
