President meets with the UN Resident Coordinator on debt restructuring

According to a report from the President's Media Division (PMD), President Ranil Wickremesinghe held a meeting with the United Nations Resident Coordinator, Marc-Andre Franche, to address the issue of fair debt treatment in Sri Lanka's restructuring process. The discussion revolved around the UN's assistance in this regard.

Additionally PMD has stated that, during the meeting, the President put forth plans for the development and reconciliation of the North and East regions of the country. The meeting between the two took place on the 24th of July.
