People’s Bank has again come forward to sponsor the historical Kandy Esala Perahera.
The sponsorship cheque of the People’s bank was presented to Diyawadane Nilame of Sri Dalada Maligawa Pradeep Nilanga Dela by Kandy Regional Manager of People’s Bank, Nalin Potthewela. Assistant Regional Manager Janaka Jayasinghe, Kandy Branch Senior Manager Prasanna Karunarathne and Regional Business Promotion Officer Krishantha Kulasinghe were also present.
The Diyawadane Nilame expressed his gratitude to People’s Bank for offering a sponsorship to strengthen this iconic cultural pageant which showcases and preserves invaluable customs and cultural practices.
