The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Sri Lanka Olympians was held at the NCC clubhouse recently and the membership headed by its president Sriyani Kulawansa participated in a discussion on their future plans for the benefit of sports in the island.

The occasion marked a crucial meeting of former Olympians who represented Sri Lanka in several disciplines. Commonwealth Games silver medalist Sriyani Kulawansa said they have drawn up plans to promote Sri Lanka sports while their main aim is to protect all Olympians.

“Sri Lanka Olympians are looking forward to do well and they must be well supported,” said Kulawansa who is a serving member of the National Sports Council.
