Sri Lanka has repaid USD 100 million to Bangladesh, as the second installment of the swap facility granted by Bangladesh totalling US$ 200 million two years ago. Sri Lanka received this financial facility from Bangladesh on the agreement of repayment in three installments. Accordingly, 50 million dollars had been paid on August 17. The Central Bank, which paid the second installment of 100 million dollars on Thursday (31), will proceed to pay the final installment by the end of this month as agreed.
