The Colombo Football League has organized an under-19 football tournament which will be held in the first week of September at Campbell Ground, Borella.
There are sixteen teams among the five school teams that will be participating according to the president of the Colombo Football League M.M.M. Najibdeen who addressed a Press conference held at the Sri Lanka Football Federation Auditorium, Colombo recently.
Certificates, trophies and cash awards will be given to the champion and runners up teams at this tournament according to the organizers.
The main sponsor of the tournament is Venom Active Essentials Director Hussain Jiffry who presented his sponsorship to the president of the Colombo Football League Najibdeen.
Assistant Secretary Madavan Rajendran, Competition Chairman Adhil Aboobucker, vice president Sugath Karunathilaka, Assistant Treasurer A.W.M. Nazar and the captains of the teams were also present.
