Supuna Warusawithana in action
Supuna Warusawithana representing 99x emerged the winner in the Men’s Open Singles Champion at the 67th Mercantile Open table tennis tournament held recently at S. Thomas’ College indoor stadium Mount Lavinia.
He was also the Champion of the Open Mix Doubles as well as the second runner-up award in the Men’s Open Doubles by displaying exceptional table tennis abilities.
While his achievements were recognised within the local stage, Warusawithana’s journey extends beyond borders as he is set to represent both Sri Lanka and 99x at the prestigious Merdeka Cup 2023 in Malaysia.
Warusawithana’s commitment has earned him the distinction of being the most outstanding player in the mercantile arena following the tournament.
