It was inadvertently reported in the Sunday Observer of August 26, 2018 that Refai Ariff was elected as the secretary of Moors Sports Club succeeding Dr. Aziz Mubarak at its annual general meeting held at the club premises at Braybrooke Place.
The correct name should have been that of MH Jawahir who was elected as secretary of Moors Sports Club succeeding Dr. Aziz Mubarak at its annual general meeting held at the club premises Braybrooke Place.
It also marked a change in the secretary’s post after 14 years and not 13 years as stated in the report.
It was also stated by mistake that Ariff was a member of Moors SC since 1985 whereas the correct year should have been stated as 2008. We regret the inconvenience caused by the incorrect names that were published.
