ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation) is the space agency of India. The organisation is involved in science, engineering and technology to get benefits from outer space for India and mankind.

ISRO has its headquarter in Bengaluru. Sriharikota is the place for launching the ISRO rockets. India has spent about $75 million on its Chandrayaan 3 mission. This space craft was successfully launched on July 14, 2023 at 14:35 hours. The mission objectives of Chandrayaan 3 are, to demonstrate a safe and Soft landing on the lunar surface, to demonstrate Rover roving on the moon and to conduct in-situ scientific experiments. Chandrayaan -3 successfully landed on the moon at 6.03 p.m. on August 23, 2023.
