“Young Artists’ Open Exhibition” will be held at Sky Gallery, Kirula Road, Colombo 5 on March 29 and 30 from 10.00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Art provides a safe space for children to express their thoughts, feelings and experiences. When words fail, a stroke of a brush or a splash of colour can convey emotions that may otherwise remain submerged. Art becomes a bridge to communicate their inner world.
The Fareed Uduman Art Forum and Sky Gallery presents this exhibition to celebrates the creativity of Sri Lanka’s youngest artists. “Young Artists’ Open Exhibition” is an amazing showcase featuring the works of almost 100 children who are less than 15 years of age, providing them a platform to share their artistic expressions and impressions.
Visitors will encounter a wonderful mix of paintings, each of which reflects unique perspectives and uninhibited creativity. From vibrant landscapes to imaginative characters, the exhibition covers a wide range, and viewers can expect to be moved, amused, and even inspired by the interpretations of these youngsters.
