People’s Bank quiz teams shine in back-to-back competitions

People’s Bank quiz teams clinched victories in consecutive quiz competitions, showcasing their dominance in the realm of corporate intellect and acumen.

The People’s Bank team emerged triumphant at the Exquizite 3.0-2024 Quiz Competition. The event, organised by NSBM’s Human Resource Circle in collaboration with NFORCE – NSBM, unfolded on March 19 at the university auditorium. Leading the charge was Pulasthi Gunasekara as Team Leader, supported by Charith Malalasekara and Pasan Gunaratne, securing the coveted championship title.

Following their victory at Exquizite, another People’s Bank Quiz Team continued their performance, clinching the runners-up position at the second Japura Master’s Quiz – 2024 which witnessed participation from 34 multi-sectoral corporate quiz teams. People’s Bank Team-A which showcased their exceptional knowledge and strategic prowess was led by Pulasthi Gunasekara, Nipunika Wijayaratne, Charith Malalaseka and Amanda Pakianathan.

The success streak extended further as staff members from People’s Bank’s Treasury Front Office shone at the SLFA Quest 2024, organised by the Sri Lanka Forex Association on March 27. Team B from People’s Bank, comprising Shameela Loku Kaluge, Thilina Karunarathna, Anushki Jayasooriya, Dilini Gunawardena, and Chamara Abeyrathna, secured the first runners-up position.

People’s Bank continued to make waves as Team A from the Treasury Front Office secured the second runner-up position at the APD Masterminds ’24 quiz competition organised by the Association of Primary Dealers on March 22.

Represented by Vinitha Ebenzeer, Eroshi Weerasuriya, Niranga Perera, Upeksha Vidanapathirana, and Amanda Pakianathan, the People’s Bank team showcased exemplary knowledge and experience.

The consecutive victories underscore the commitment to excellence and knowledge pursuit embedded within the People’s Bank culture. With each triumph, the bank’s quiz teams continue to solidify their reputation as a leading force in the corporate quiz arena, showcasing their intellectual acumen and unwavering determination to excel.
