Lanka Hospitals recently inaugurated its new Bariatric Centre, coinciding with the celebration of surpassing the milestone of 250 successful Bariatric surgeries performed at the hospital. The inauguration ceremony, held on April 6, was attended by guests, medical professionals, and members of the media.

Group CEO of Lanka Hospitals Deepthi Lokuarachchi, expressed his gratitude to the medical team and staff for their dedication and hard work in achieving this significant milestone. “The successful inauguration of our new Bariatric Centre and the surpassing of our 250th successful surgery mark a momentous occasion for Lanka Hospitals. The successful inauguration of the new Bariatric Centre and the surpassing of the 250th successful surgery milestone are testament to Lanka Hospitals’ commitment to excellence in patient care and its dedication to providing the highest quality healthcare services to patients in Sri Lanka and beyond. The Guest-of-Honour at the inauguration, former Sri Lankan Cricket Captain, Arjuna Ranatunga, shared his personal experience with Bariatric surgery at Lanka Hospitals Bariatric Centre.
