ISO Tech Committee on tea to meet in Colombo

Sri Lanka will host the 34th plenary meeting of the International Standards Organization (ISO) Technical Committee on tea from the July 24 to 26 in Colombo.

Over 300 representatives from 40 member countries will participate for the event.

This marks the first in-person meeting of the event which was held on Zoom since 2020 due to the Covid pandemic.

The event will run concurrently with the Colombo International Tea Convention 2024 where the biggest leaders and disruptors of the tea industry will participate. The event is hosted by The Colombo Tea Traders’ Association (CTTA) and the Sri Lanka Tea Board (SLTB).
