The Government will hold the State Vesak festival in the Matale district.
This year’s Vesak festival will be on the theme, ‘Let’s not look at what others have done, but at what we have done’.
The Vesak festival week has been declared from May 21 to 27. The opening ceremony will be held at the Dharmaraja Pirivena, Matale and the closing ceremony will be held at the Sri Sunandarama Vihara, Millawana, Pallepola.
