I decided to be a demonologist

23 October, 2016

My name is Kuranage Anne Mihanshi Neelika Ranasinghe. I study in Grade 9E at Ave Maria Convent, Negombo. I decided to be a demonologist in England when I grow up. A practitioner of demonology as a profession is called demonologist. A demonologist is a person who studies about demons and involve in paranormal investigations. My role models are Ed and Lorrain who have been considered America's prominent experts on the subject of spirits and demonology. I love adventures and to take risky challenges. I wish to see a real ghost with my eyes. I hope that I will become one of the greatest demonologists in the world.

Hope, wish, fantasy….

Call it what you may, everyone dreams of

being someone or doing something different when they grow up. Some dream of being astronauts, rocket scientists, space explorers… Some dream of being clowns, comedians and running away to a circus. Still others wish to be lawyers, doctors, cricketers or superstars.

The sky, as they say, is the limit to your dreams… But what’s the

fun if you keep it all to yourself? So why not put pen to paper, or finger to keyboard, and share with us what you dream of being, when you grow up? You can mail your dreams, along with your photograph to husnakghs@

yahoo.com or send it by snailmail to ‘Junior Observer’, No. 35, D.R. Wijewardene Mawatha, Colombo 10.
