Shankar’s International Children’s Competition 2017

To commemorate Children’s Day which falls on November 14 every year, coinciding with the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India, the Indian Cultural Centre (ICC), Colombo hasl organised painting, drawing and writing competition for children on Saturday, November 12, from 9.30 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. at Indian Cultural Centre, 16/2, Gregory’s Road, Colombo 7. Children who are interested in participating may register their names with the Centre (Tel. 011-2684698, Telefax 2684697, e-mail [email protected]) and are requested to call at the ICC at 9.00 am on November 12, 2016. The entries done by the children on that day would be sent to New Delhi for the Shankar’s International Children’s Competition 2017. The categories of writing, painting and drawing is open to children all over world, born on or after January 1st 2001.

The last date for receipt of foreign entries in New Delhi for the Shankar’s Competition is February 28, 2017. For rules and more details, call the Centre on 011-2684698.
