The Wizard of Oz is a famous book written by L. Frank Baum. The main characters in the book are Dorothy, Toto, Scarecrow, Lion and Tinman. Dorothy doesn’t have parents and she lives with her aunt and uncle in Kansas. She has lovely pet dog called Toto. One day, Dorothy and Toto are transported to the land of Munchkins through a cyclone. Dorothy meets the Good Witch of the North, and she wants to go back to Kansas. But Dorothy has only one way to go back to Kansas. She has to meet the Wizard of Oz. She walks along the Yellow Brick Road and starts her journey. First Dorothy meets the Scarecrow. He joins Dorothy to search for his brain. They next meet the Tinman. He joins Dorothy to search for his heart. And finally they meet the cowardly Lion. He joins Dorothy to search for his bravery. And they all go in search of the Wizard of Oz.
I like this book very much because all the characters work co-operatively to face challenges. By reading this book I developed my knowledge, and I have also watched the movie. I think everyone will learn how to achieve their goals through the knowledge gained by this book.
