How we helped flood victims

Many helpless people had to leave their homes because of heavy floods. Many were living close to Kelani river which flows along Sedawatte area. School children with the help of teachers and parents collected food items, clothes, mats, bed sheets and other essential items to be distributed among the flood victims.
There were young, old and small children, some of them sick and a few with injuries. Many kind hearted doctors treated them. Food and other items were distributed among the victims. We will continue to look after them until they return to their homes. We also thank all the generous people who had contributed to make it a success.
