A mysterious note, strange papers with couplets written all lead to a series of unfortunate events for three children, Violet, Claus and Sunny Baudelaire. The Baudelaire children face strange events in their lives after the death of their parents. Violet, Claus and Sunny are very unfortunate to have to live with a cruel relative Count Olaf who tries to steal their inheritance. The children succeed in getting rid of Count Olaf with the help of friends, but they have to face a series of unfortunate events. The title of the series is A Series of Unfortunate Events and it consists of 13 books. The author of the book series is Lemony Snicket who does not want us to read these miserable books. The theme of the books is a series of unfortunate events.
