Sri Lanka elephants

11 March, 2018

The elephant is the largest animal on land and it is the king of the Sri Lankan jungle. Elephants live in small herds and some elephants have tusks, but tuskers are now rare in Sri Lanka. Today, elephants face a bad situation because people cultivate land in the jungles and elephants are deprived of their natural habitats. They roam on cultivated land and the villagers shoot them.
