My favourite person is Kumarathunga Munidasa. He was a great Sri Lankan author. He was born on 25 July 1887 in the village of Dickwella in the Matara district. He fought to give the Sinhala language its proper place during his lifetime. He considered language as his sword and teaching as his battle. He wrote Magul Kema, Hathpana, Heen Saraya, Kumara Gee and Piya Samara. I respect him and the service he had rendered to the country.
