Michael Faraday was born on 22 September 1791 in England. He was the son of a blacksmith. Faraday worked as an apprentice to a book binder during his early years. Faraday took an interest in science and worked as an assistant to the scientist Humpry Davy. Faraday passed away on 25 August 1867.
