There are so many forests in Sri Lanka. Sinharaja forest is popular among people and tourists. It is a tropical rain forest. There are waterfalls, trees, streams and lots of animals in the forest. A forest is also called a jungle. The lion is considered as the king of the forest. We cannot live without rain. We should not destroy forests but grow more trees. There is a wild life conservation department in our country. It protects wild animals and forests without getting subjected to harm. We must love and protect out forests for our future generations.
