North East Methodist District Women’s Unity Society of Methodist Church of Sri Lanka held their women’s carol service on ‘Life given by God’ at the Kalmunai Methodist Church recently.
It was held under the patronage of North East Secretary of Methodist Church of Sri Lanka Rev. Sujiver Sivanayagam where more than 300 members of the Women Unity Societies from Jaffna, Mannar, Vavuniya, Mullaitheevu, Trincomalee, Batticaloa and Ampara districts participated.
Members of the North East Methodist District Women Unity Society welcomed by members of the Kalmunai Women Unity Society at Kalmunai and proceeded through the Kalmunai town to the Methodist Church of Kalmunai.
Chief Guest on this occasion, Methodist Church of Sri Lanka Deputy President P. Dammika Fernando, was felicitated with the memento by former Methodist Church Deputy President V. Prabakaran and Methodist Church of Kalmunai Pastor S. D. Vinoth during the event.
